ASTRO's Brilliant Maknae

Sanha, whose real name is Yoon San-ha, was born on March 21, 2000, in Seoul, South Korea. From a young age, he showed a great interest in music, influenced by his father and brothers, who taught him how to play the guitar.

Although he dreamed of being a soccer player in his childhood, his love for music led him down a different path.

Sanha became a trainee at Fantagio Entertainment in 2012, when he was only 12 years old. He was the third trainee to be officially introduced as part of the iTeen Boys training group.

Although he wasn't sure if he would debut at first, his rapid physical growth allowed him to fit perfectly into ASTRO’s final lineup.

In 2015, he appeared in the web drama To Be Continued alongside the other members of ASTRO, helping to generate anticipation before their official debut.

Finally, on February 23, 2016, he debuted as the vocalists and maknae of ASTRO with the mini-album Spring Up.

Solo Career and Other Projects

In addition to his work with ASTRO, Sanha has explored other paths in music and acting:

• In 2020, he debuted in the subunit Moonbin & Sanha, releasing the mini-album In-Out with the title track Bad Idea.

• In 2022, he appeared in the drama Crazy Love, marking his debut on television.

• In 2024, Fantagio announced his solo debut with the mini-album DUSK, showcasing a more mature and personal style.

• He has also worked in musicals, such as Altar Boyz, where he played the role of Abraham.

In 2025, Sanha launched his music project SANiGHT, where he has been releasing songs every month, all written and composed by him. This project has allowed fans to see a more personal side of his music, with themes that reflect his thoughts and emotions.

In April 2025, Sanha held his first solo concert, titled SANHA SANiGHT Vol.1: Into the Light, where he performed many of these songs live. This event was a significant milestone in his career, as it was the first time he had a concert entirely dedicated to his solo music.

Personality and Interests

Sanha is known for his youthful energy and playful personality. He has always been the mischievous member of ASTRO, but he is also very affectionate with his teammates. Some of his favorite things include:

• Favorite color: Blue.

• Favorite food: He cannot eat seafood because he is allergic.

• Hobbies: Playing guitar and playing video games.

• Role model: Busker Busker.
